The Role

The Facilities & Fleet Technician helps maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient shop and work environment. This hands-on role supports equipment maintenance, fleet movement, facility upkeep, inventory, and general operational needs.

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour 

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Follow all company safety procedures and promote a safe work environment at all times
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe shop, warehouse, and work areas
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs on small tools and equipment
  • Inspect equipment and identify items needing repair or replacement
  • Safely shuttle box trucks and company vehicles as needed
  • Organize and prepare tools, equipment, and supplies for daily operations
  • Stock refrigerators, break areas, and company supplies
  • Receive, organize, and store equipment and materials
  • Run occasional errands for parts, supplies, and equipment
  • Assist with general facility maintenance and upkeep
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills 
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of basic shop safety practices (PPE use, lockout/tagout awareness, safe lifting technique, hazard identification)
  • Prior experience in a shop, warehouse, or fleet environment preferred
  • Ability to meet DOT requirements to operate company vehicles, including obtaining and maintaining DOT medical certification 
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (MVR check required)
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly 
  • Able to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and move throughout the shop and yard for extended periods
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
